Okay. I have found a new interest during my boring holiday and that is .. PHOTOGRAPHY.

Hmm, it is not exactly new or an interest but at least something I can spend my time to do/learn and doesn’t feel bored.

• Opening your lens more refers to lowering the f number. (Focused object, blur background)
• Closing your lens more refers to a higher f number.
• f/11 = All the image is focused (varies though).

Difference Between Fast and Slow Shutter Speed

Short tips for using shutter speed in digital SLR photography

• Slow shutter speed, slows motion.
• Fast shutter speed, takes the image almost instantly as in frozen in time.
• Use slow shutter speeds of at least 10 seconds or more for night shots of cities, buildings and streets etc.
• When using a slow shutter speed it’s also a good idea to use a tripod and remote shutter release to avoid camera shake.
• If for any reason you don’t want to use a tripod, then a general rule to avoid camera shake is to never set your shutter speed slower than the reciprocal of the focal length value. For example, if your lens focal length is set at 50mm then don’t use a shutter speed any slower than 1/60th of a second and so forth.
• To photograph a running child or animal while blurring the background, set the shutter speed to between 1/40 sec and 1/125 sec. Then follow the running child or moving animal as you press the shutter button. This is often referred to as panning.

Hmm, so much to learn, and they are all so confusing. Though I still do not know how everything functions together, I will find some time to try out shooting outside. Pooof, like studying for exam.. Gosh~ Haha. But in a way, I have pick up a new skill. Hope I will persist and will not be capricious. In addition, hope I will be able to handle a DSLR like a professional some day soon.

Botak Boy's First Book Out!

Deardear! How fast?! It’s already the Day 27 of your BMT le. How time flies~ A month ago you were just being enlisted. I’m sure you already are getting use of it le.

Okay. Talked about the time we spent over the 2 book outs.

19th August 2011. The date both Wan Ting and I awaited most!!! Hehehe.

Day 1 of your 1st Book Out:

I bought you loads of tidbits and drinks to replenish the 18 days where you did not had. Hehe.

Okay, day 1, you brought me to your Ahma’s house for it’s your Aunt’s birthday. We stayed till 12+am and headed to your house. After your bath, you sent me home and we ended a sweet warmth night at 2+am.

Day 2 of your 1st Book Out:

We went to Army Market to get your materials for Field Camp. Then, we went to ate the ‘daohuay’ dad sells. You got durian, and I got almond daohuay. Heeee, so funny, the uncle asked us nice or not when … Haha. But still, thank you for commenting to the uncle when I dunno what to tell him. Heee. Mwuacks!:* After that, we headed to Bugis to get your cap. Spin around in Bugis Street, finally got the cap you wanted and what a coincidence, it was my Aunt’s shop and you got a DISCOUNT! Heeee, thanks to me ehh! hehehe! Get your cap le, finally it’s DINNER TIME. Dinner-ed at Swensen! Wheeeeee! Swensen is a halal restaurant and we actually asked the waiter, “Do you all have Rum and Raisins ice cream?” Think we really siao liao. How can we not know that it’s a halal restaurant when the people dining around us were Malays and the waiter we asked was also Malay. Pardon us! :/ hehe. So much of the cravings for Rum&Raisins, we went to Cold Storage to buy Andersen’s Rum&Raisins, so we can enjoy over ‘Love Keeps Going’ when we reached home. But to our dismay, the ice cream melted along the way home. Didn’t expect it to melt so fast.. :S heh. So we freeze it while watching “Meile Jiayou!” (which is Love Keeps Going la, heee.). Ohhh, after the show, you looked so tired, you had the Rum & Raisins and watched me playing PVZ. hehe. Then … … you fell asleep until 1++am. Uhoh. No more bus home liao! You got to cab again. But I got wake you up uhh! But you were too tired liao. Heee.. Still, we had a nice night ended.  ♥

Day 3 of your 1st Book Out:

It’s your last day of your first book out le. You don’t want me to see you off at Pasir Ris cause you dislike the feeling of parting with me .. (awww…) So we did not meet on Day 3. So you can have better rest and be mentally and physically recharged and prepared for your book in. *hugs* Thank God that you have a nice dad who sent and accompanied you. Must be a heartwarming scene.  Heee.. ♥

Okay… So that’s end of your FIRST book out.

Now.. Your SECOND book out! (which is on the 26th August!)

Quite dreaded about your 2nd book out, reason being, I need to study for my exams and we can’t really enjoy much. And worst! I was down with fever on your book out day. Despite my fever, I went to class, as in my test, just want to complete it so I don’t have to retake another day which will be troublesome, and so … when I got home, it was worst. Quickly rest as much as I can so I can pick you up at night. But it gone up to 38.9ºC and I have to go to the doctor. Had the medicine and quickly, I slept under my cozy blanket. Perspire as much as I could, and when I was awake at 4++pm, I got better. Glad that I have a nice friend, named FOXTROT, who fetched me to get GONGCHA for you and pick you up. So sweet of her. hehehe… But then, while waiting for you, I felt a little sick and feverish again… Then, you finally alighted from the bus! YESH! But by then, I felt very uncomfortable le… So sorry to trouble you. Instead of your rest and relax bookout day, I made it so mafan for you, still need you to take care of me. Thank you baby. :* So, that was Day 1 of your 2nd book out.

Day 2 of your 2nd Book Out:

I was sick, so I stayed at home and rest and you also got to rest at home to recharge a bit. geeeheee.

Day 3 of your 2nd Book Out:

YEAH! I’m better! And because you have a longer book out that week due to Presidency Polling and also Hari Raya, we get to meet more despite my sickness. hehe.. So where did we go on Sunday? Hmm .. Oh ya! TOWN. We walked around in Town getting food, food, and MORE FOOD! Piak! hehehe.. Bought Mars Ball Ice Cream, and what else ..? I forgotten, but I know that day was a FOODIE DAY! hehe.. Hunting for food and window shopped around… That night, we had dinner at SAKAE. Wanted a buffet but it was overcharged at Orchard Central. How sad! So we ordered Ala Carte instead. So glad that we didn’t eat the Buffet, the food wasn’t fresh at all, and there were so little variations only. HENG AH! hehe. But I pity you ala-carte meal. hehe, so little and salty.. :S But still, not so bad la. I like mine better! hehehe. *eyebrow up and down* Got so much small dishes in my Premium Bento Set. Chawamushi, Sashimi, Scallop, Unagi, and another 2, I forgot what is it le. hehehe. But didn’t had an enjoyable dinner cause of the lousy service. But hehe, dear! We smoked through something… Heh! SHHHH! Okay, that’s the end of our Day 3.  ♥ ♥ ♥

Day 4 of your 2nd Book out:

We went to catch ZOOKEEPER. heh. I mean the movie. hehe. Nice and funny comedy to lighten up our stress. Your stress of NS, my stress of exam~ Heeee. Though we quarreled a bit over I forgot what, must be some lame stuffs.. Heee.. I love you still!  ♥  After that, we had McDonald’s for dinner. Frankly speaking, I haven’t had Fast food for ages. hehe… Not so an enjoyable meal cause we quarreled somehow. Sorry. :/ Okay, shhhhhh! It’s over! After that, you sent me home and you went to your cousin’s birthday. End of Day 4!

Day 5 of your 2nd Book Out:

As usual, not meeting on the last day of book out cause you need to recuperate and get ready for your book in. So girlfriend. Haha~ BISH! Heeeeee.. Alright! End of your 2nd book out!

Now … Awaiting for your 3rd Book Out which is TODAY! You’ll be booking out at Discovery Centre~ Enjoy your day at the Discovery Centre! Heeee. Mwuacks! :* Can’t wait to pick you up!  ♥ ♥ ♥

P.S.: Woke up early today and wanted to go for a jog, but … lazy me. I need to shake off the fats off me!!!!
